Birthday plans
Jul. 8th, 2010 11:55 pmI've booked an oceanside room at Daytona Beach for my birthday. Mom kind of wanted to go to Sanibel Island, but the cheapest I found rooms there was $149 a night, which is more than I'm paying for both nights at Daytona. There aren't any special events going on at Daytona, so crowds shouldn't be too bad.
Now to figure out what we want to do for food. We have a microwave and a minifridge in the room.

Not fond of spiders right now
Jul. 7th, 2010 10:57 pmI had a HUGE freaking spder climb over my hand, up my arm and onto my shoulder while I was IN THE SHOWER! That so broke the rules of spiders living in my home, and I'm relieved that I did not kill myself trying to fling the thing off... LOL
It scuttled off before I could flush it down the drain. Who knows where th thing is now. I'll be paranoid for days now.

I caught a cold this week. More to the point, it caught me, kicked me around, and punched me a few times just for good measure. If I am not working or eating, I am sleeping right now. The cold brought it's bacterial buddies bronchitis and ear infection with it, so I'm on a Z-pack for that, and OTC meds for the cold symptoms. I'll be happy when I'm no longer a mucus factory.
